Organization and operation
Our challenge is to maintain a systemic approach and a global vision to address the complex issue of transition. For that reason, and to ensure that we cover a wide range of disciplines at TTI.5, it is essential to dynamically involve all internal actors at Mines Paris – PSL, as well as to include national and international networks of excellence.
To integrate internal networking and consolidation between centers at the School while ensuring our outreach, the institute operates through broader governance

Director | (Decision maker) The direction of the Institute is assured by Nadia Maïzi. she is in charge of structuring the Institute and setting up its financing. she is also in charge of its scientific policy. The board coordinates the Institute’s different bodies and ensures its national and international integration. Internal Monitoring Committee | (Decision-making) This committee is in charge of the Institute’s scientific policy and ensures its implementation: it sets up selection juries, coordinates and carries out regular monitoring of the Institute’s work, and validates the budget and its allocation. | Teachers / researchers and students at the School, and representatives of common departments |
Institute Team | (Executive) The team supports the Director with operation, management, coordination, dissemination, and fund-raising activities. | |

TTI.5 Committee | (Consultative) It will bring together, three times a year, all of its sponsors as well as observers and stakeholders invited by TTI’s management.5. It will be a space of animation, exchange and debate. The discussions – which will shed light on the points of attention, the concrete problems and the realities in the field – will make it possible to discuss and enrich the research questions raised by the Institute and to interact on the methods of disseminating their results. | Patrons, observers, guest members |
