SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The Institute’s scientific program is centered on the conditions for bringing about and steering a low-carbon transition in line with the IPCC target of limiting average global warming to 1.5 degrees. It involves seriously considering all of the implications of this particularly ambitious global decarbonization target given that the strategies for reaching it have so far proven ineffective.
