On Monday, September 19, 2022, The Transition Institute 1.5 hosted its very first TTI 1.5 Webinar with the theme “Water-Agriculture-Energy Nexus” [Original Title in French: « Nexus Eau-Agriculture-Énergie »].
The Water-Agriculture-Energy Nexus represents an integrated approach aimed at understanding and managing the complex interactions between water, agriculture, and energy, acknowledging their crucial interdependencies. Decisions in one domain, such as water use for agriculture, can have significant repercussions on other sectors, underscoring the importance of making informed decisions to ensure sustainability and resource efficiency.
By embracing holistic and sustainable solutions, the Water-Agriculture-Energy Nexus seeks to promote more efficient and balanced management of these essential resources to address the growing challenges associated with population growth and climate change.
