On Thursday, March 21, 2024, The Transition Institute 1.5 hosted its 9th TTI 1.5 Webinar, themed “When Climate Challenges Disrupt Businesses: Models, Governance, and Indicators”. [Original title in French: « Lorsque les enjeux du climat bousculent les entreprises : modèles, gouvernance et indicateurs »]

The session of this webinar will be in French.

Businesses must reinvent themselves to address the challenges of climate change. The objective of this webinar will be to explore concrete pathways to achieve this. Our invited experts will examine production models, governance structures, as well as strategic visions and the relationship with the environment through indicators and accounting.

Program of the Webinar:

Kevin LEVILLAIN | Researcher-Teacher at the CGS Mines Paris – PSL ; presented work on corporate governance models. He coordinates the work of the Chaire Théorie de l’Entreprise – Modèles de gouvernance & création collective. In 2019, he received the HR Book Award 2019 for his co-authored book with Blanche SEGRESTIN, La mission de l’entreprise responsable – Principes et normes de gestion.

His research activities focus on transfer phenomena and phase transitions in heterogeneous and reactive materials. After completing his Ph.D. in fluid mechanics from theUniversité Pierre-et-Marie-Curie, he began his career at the Saint-Gobain à Aubervilliers , where he worked on the development of numerical simulation tools dedicated to glass furnaces.

Alexandre RAMBAUD | Lecturer at AgroParisTech-CIRED ; Ipresented work on the ecological accounting of companies. With a Ph.D. in mathematics and management sciences, he is an associated researcher at theUniversité Paris-Dauphine and Academic Fellow at theInstitut Louis Bachelier. He co-directs theChaire Comptabilité écologique et le département Économie et Société du Collège des Bernardins.
