On the occasion of the French Science Festival (Original title in French: “Fête de la Science”), the CMA Mines Paris – PSL will host a booth in the heart of the Coulée Verte in Nice on Sunday, October 15, 2023. This event, titled “La course à l’énergie” (English translation: “The Energy Race”) aims to raise awareness among the public about the Energy-Climate challenges, providing a better understanding of the energy production challenges we face.
Various research projects conducted by the CMA Mines Paris – PSL will be showcased through games, digital applications, quizzes, and demonstrations. Posters will serve as a platform for numerous discussions, particularly regarding the magnitude of the changes required for these transitions that can no longer be delayed.
Additionally, the public can even engage in sports activities while generating electricity to gain a better understanding of these issues. Come and join us!
The booth of CMA Mines Paris – PSL will be staffed by: Sophie CHLELA (PhD Student), Victor GUILLOT (PhD Student) and Sandrine SELOSSE (Teacher-Researcher).
“La Fête de la Science”
“La Fête de la Science” is a popular and free event that celebrates science, technology, and innovation across the entire territory. It is aimed at all audiences and contributes to promoting the sharing of knowledge between scientists and citizens.
During the festival, thousands of scientists, teachers, cultural mediators, and librarians share their enthusiasm and curiosity for science, technology, and innovation with the public through various activities.
