The 6th session of the Webinar TTI 1.5 addressed the theme of “Sustainable Cities”. In the face of the major challenges posed by climate change, urban areas must adapt. Today, 56% of the world’s population, or 4.4 billion people, live in cities. The stakes are therefore significant.
This Webinar TTI 1.5 is part of the scientific conferences of the PSL University’s fall season.

- « Villes et changement climatique : qu’apprend-on du 6e rapport du GIEC ? » (Translation in English: “Cities and Climate Change: What Do We Learn from the 6th IPCC Report?”), by Gonéri LE COZANNET | Researcher at the Coastal Risks and Climate Change Unit at BRGM and co-author of the 6th IPCC report.
Gonéri Le Cozannet has been an engineer and geographer at BRGM since 2006 in the Directorate of Risks and Prevention. His work focuses on adaptation to sea-level rise and associated coastal hazards, coastal erosion, and marine submersion. - Download the presentation [FR]
- « Quelle logistique pour une ville durable ? » (Translation in English: “What Logistics for a Sustainable City?”), by Éric BALLOT | Professor at the Center for Scientific Management (CGS Mines Paris – PSL).
Eric Ballot’s research focuses on logistics chains and production systems. He is one of the founders of the Physical Internet and has led the Industrial Chair for Physical Internet at Mines Paris – PSL. - Download the presentation [FR]
- “Urbanisme en milieu tropical pour favoriser la ventilation naturelle“ (Translation in English: “Urban Planning in Tropical Environments to Promote Natural Ventilation”), by Pascal STABAT | Professor at the Energy Efficiency of Systems Center (CES Mines Paris – PSL) and Head of the Apprenticeship Program at IST ISUPFERE – PSL.
Pascal Stabat’s research focuses on buildings and systems, low-energy air conditioning, natural ventilation in buildings, and thermodynamics. After completing his PhD at Mines, he worked as a Research Engineer for Veolia from 2003 to 2007. - Download the presentation [FR]
