MINES LA REVUE – The ambition of a true transition

In January 2024, Mines La Revue – le magazine de l’École Mines Paris – PSL – dedicated three pages to The Transition Institute 1.5, its history, its current activities, and its projects.

Excerpt [Translation]:
« The Transition Institute 1.5 thus becomes a player in knowledge transmission, a concept dear to Nadia Maïzi. ‘In a context where it is imperative to place adaptation and mitigation at the heart of common concerns, developing a scientific vision of the transition to a low-carbon world requires collaboration with all stakeholders in society, taking into account social, political, economic, and technical constraints. Sharing knowledge and the state of research is therefore essential and constitutes one of the pillars of the Institute, whose mission is to become a key venue for reflection to design a true transition.’ This dissemination of knowledge is ensured in particular by the Institute’s website, which provides a census of research projects and theses related to the low-carbon transition at Mines Paris – PSL. This allows one to fully grasp the School’s complete involvement in finding solutions to the low-carbon transition. »
